Roomers West Cumbria offers serviced accommodation for contractors on the west coast of Cumbria. Our comfortable and convenient rooms provide the perfect home away from home. We have 6 fully furnished ensuite rooms in a clean, modern, well kept home in a village location on the Cumbria Nuclear coast. The property is well placed for those working at Sellafield as there's a large car park with easy access to the train station and a regular shuttle bus to transport staff to site. There are also plenty of local amenities which includes; a gym, health centre, post office, hair dressers etc. and a number of village based eateries including a café, Chip shop and a couple of takeaway's.

There are also lots of activities on offer in addition to the local gym including a BMX and skateboarding park, Cricket club, Bowling green, beach, walking routes along the coast path and inland, cycle routes and a golf course and club plus nearby Rugby clubs.

Comfortable Accommodation

Each room is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, drawers/ bureau, a bedside table and lamp, chair, wall-mounted television and a kettle as a minimum.

There is communal use of a Kitchen and dining room with all white goods in good condition and the inclusive utilities include a cooker, hob, microwave, air fryer, toaster and fridge freezers. There is also the use of an ironing board and iron on request.

All residents have a key to the front door and there is housekeeping and a local maintenance operative that care for the property and can be on call should there be an issue that needs to be reported and addressed.

No, but there is a large car park within walking distance that is available to use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and contractors can apply for a pass to park in specified spaces for ease of use in high season.
